Kohler-Cadmore Hits Hundred As Rapids Set 343 Target

Tom Kohler-Cadmore hit a superb hundred as Worcestershire Rapids set a 343 target in the Royal London One-Day Cup top of the table clash with Yorkshire Vikings at New Road.

Kohler-Cadmore had volunteered to play in yesterday's Second Eleven match with Derbyshire at Kidderminster and scored 121 off 101 balls.

The 22-year-old reaped the benefits from his time in the middle in making 118 off 119 balls with five sixes and 10 fours.

It was just one run short of his List A best score of 119 versus Northamptonshire at New Road last summer.

Kohler-Cadmore was given excellent support by Daryl Mitchell during an opening stand of 135 in 22 overs after the Rapids had been put into bat.

Mitchell followed up his 75 in the tied clash with Northamptonshire Steelbacks at Wantage Road by making another impressive 69 off 61 balls with one six and four fours.

Skipper Joe Leach (41) and John Hastings (33) then gave the innings late impetus in bludgeoning 67 off just 5.5 overs for the eighth wicket.

The Rapids were finally dismissed for 342 in 48.5 overs – their highest List A score at New Road versus first class opposition.
