Tom Kohler-Cadmore hit a memorable unbeaten century as Worcestershire secured maximum batting points on the final day of the Specsavers County Championship clash with Essex.
The 21-year-old reached his second hundred in the competition shortlyafter lunch witha thick edge for four off Essex paceman Jamie Porter.
It came from 151 balls and contained two sixes and 14 fours.
Kohler-Cadmore received excellent support from Ben Cox, Joe Leach and Matt Henry as Worcestershire, who resumed on 226-5, declared on 411-8 from 110.2 overs.
Essex then reached 57-1 from 20 overs by tea with Ed Barnard having Nick Browne caught at first slip for eight.
There was a second success for the County when Moeen Ali, in an elongated bowl, bowled first innings century-maker Tom Westley for 20.
Former Malvern College pupil Kohler-Cadmore shared in stands of 61 with Cox, 70 with Leach and 58 with Henry.
Both sides claimed seven bonus points before skipper Daryl Mitchell declared 40 runs behind Essex with the rain-hit encounter heading for a draw.

Kohler-Cadmore reached an excellent half century with a back foot cover drive for four off Napier.
It came off 109 balls with eight fours and then Kohler-Cadmore repeated the shot to Napier's next delivery to bring up the 300 in the 91st over.
A pull for four by Kohler-Cadmore from the same bowler enabled Worcestershire to move past the follow on target of 302.
Leach pulled Ryan ten Doeschate for four and then in the final over before lunch Kohler-Cadmore struck successive sixes off spinner Tom Westley to go to the interval on 95 not out.
The first delivery after lunch from Porter accounted for Leach (23) with Alastair Cook pouching the chance at first slip.
Kohler-Cadmore went to three figures in Porter's next over and then Henry provided the necessary aggression to clinch a fifth batting point.
He made 34 from 25 balls with two sixes before his dismissal – caught off a skier at backward point against the bowling of David Masters – signalled the declaration.
It left Kohler-Cadmore unbeaten on 119 from 170 deliveries with two sixes and 17 fours.
