Kohler-Cadmore Hoping To Return To Middle After Three Week Break

Kohler-Cadmore Hoping To Return To Middle After Three Week Break

Tom Kohler-Cadmore will hope to return to action for the first time in three weeks this weekend when Penrith Panthers start a two day game in the Sydney Grade Cricket first grade against visiting Sydney at the Howell Oval on Saturday.

The Worcestershire batsman's last innings was on October 31 when he hit a superb 126 in the win over Mosman after his side chased down 300 plus for the second successive match.

Hopes of adding to that impressive performance have had to be put on hold after the wash-out of all but nine overs of the two day home game with Bankstown spread over the last two weekends.

Sydney will provide a challenging test for Kohler-Cadmore and his team-mates.

They currently top the table on 30 points after winning their opening five games – 11 clear of second placed Fairfield-Liverpool.

Penrith are currently one of six teams from third to eighth spot in the table on 18 points after triumphing three times.

The top six go through to the qualifying finals and semi-finals in March with the grand final on April 1, 2 and 3.

But by then Kohler-Cadmore will be back at New Road preparing for the County's pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi which gets underway on March 4.

*We will preview the other games featuring Worcestershire CCC players Down Under tomorrow.
