Tom Kohler-Cadmore has received glowing praise from Penrith Panthers first grade coach Steve Small for his contribution to the Sydney Grade Cricket club this winter.
The Worcestershire batsman ended his spell in Australia as Penrith's top scorer as he continued the form demonstrated during the latter part of last season at New Road.
But Kohler-Cadmore, currently with the County on their pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi, also impressed Small with his work ethic and would be welcomed back by the Panthers.
Small said: "Tom was an outstanding success for Penrith this season with some memorable performances with a couple of centuries and several fifties to help the Panthers into finals cricket again.
"Toms strengths from my view as coachis his even temperament. Opening the Batting will test the very best.
"He also worked hard on his all-round game, catching at slip and bowling a few overs of off spin.
"He knows what will be required for him to firstly cement his first class spot and eventually get to the top – hard work.
"More importantly Tom was a pleasure to have at Penrith Cricket Club. He is a quality man and the club would gladly welcome him back should he wish to come.
"Tom also travelled away to Country Centres, at Port Macquarie and Murwillumbah, with the Baggy Blues (former first class players from New South Wales) and fitted in very well as our guest player along with Nic Browne from Essex.
"I wish him well for the coming summer and I'm sure all at Penrith do the same."
