Leach picked up an early wicket in reply but Weston reached their target with more than 20 overs to spare with Cade Brown hitting 52.
In the other semi-final Leach's county colleague, Ed Barnard, was also on the losing side.
Queanbeyan District went down by 57 runs to Western District UC.
Barnard returned the highly creditable figures of 2-36 from 10 overs and was dismissed for a single as Queanbeyan were bowled out for 180.
The Northies had been second best on the opening day of their ACT first grade clash with visiting Western District yesterday (Saturday).
NCG were bowled out for just 89 with Leach scoring five.
Leach picked up a wicket in reply as an unbeaten 100 from Darren Richards helped Western District reach 182-2 by the close. The match will be concluded next weekend.
Barnard followed up his century against NCG before Christmas with another fifty on the opening day of the ACT first grade encounter with Weston Creek Molonglo at Stirling yesterday.
The England Under-19 player, who batted at number at number five, made 52 out of Queanbeyan's 312-6. This match is also scheduled to be concluded next weekend.
