All-rounder Joe Leach believes Worcestershire have regained some of the momentum from Gloucestershire after they fought back on the second day of the LV = County Championship clash at New Road.
Worcestershire claimed the last eight Gloucestershire wickets for 197 with Charlie Morris (3-73) and Leach (4-100) their most successful bowlers.
The home side then reached 154-2 in their second innings by the close thanks to an unbroken century stand between Richard Oliver (84) and Alexei Kervezee (50) to leave them only 30 in arrears.
Leach said: "All things being equal, we've probably got the better of that day in the end. The way Richard and Alexei batted has put us right back in the game.
"It was a crucial partnership. To lose two wickets early on wasn't the start we were after going back in 180 behind.
"But the way those two have batted, and the way they have scored their runs as well, has been a real plus for us.
"If we have a good first session tomorrow first and foremost, there is every chance we are still in this game.
"Momentum is a funny thing in cricket and I think we might have seized a bit back there from Gloucestershire.
"The way yesterday went, we need to make sure we win all three of the remaining days.
"We've done that today and hopefully we can do that for the next two."
Leach wrapped up the Gloucestershire first innings with a burst of 4-23 in 6.4 overs but preferred to give most of the credit to Morris.
He said: "I think I'd give most of the credit to Charlie. I think if we are honest, all of us didn't hit our straps aside from Charlie.
"I've got lucky to a certain extent to pick up four wickets. I've certainly bowled a lot better than that this season.
"Shants (Jack Shantry) was very economical all day which gave us a degree of control, Charlie bowled brilliantly as he does consistently and I managed to get a couple of wickets at the end."
