Mitchell Wins Toss And Elects To Bat Against Leicestershire At New Road

Worcestershire skipper Daryl Mitchell won the toss and elected to bat in the LV = County Championship match with Leicestershire at New Road.

The leaders made one change from the side which defeated Glamorgan 11 days ago with Shaaiq Choudhry replacing Moeen Ali who is on England duty.

Choudhry is making his third Championship appearance of the campaign having previously played in the home win over Kent and the drawn game with Hampshire at New Road.

He is playing as the second spinner in tandem with Saeed Ajmal who is making his final appearance of his current spell.

Leicestershire made one change from the side which lost at home to Kent.

They have also opted to play two spinners with James Sykes replacing Ben Raine.
