Moeen Ali is hoping to help Worcestershire end the season in style after being given the green light by England to play in the final two LV = County Championship matches of the campaign.
The all-rounder will return to county action against Surrey at New Road tomorrow and is also available to face Essex at Chelmsford from September 23.
Worcestershire currently head Division Two by seven points from Hampshire as they look to bounce back from successive defeats against Gloucestershire and Derbyshire.
Moeen said: "We've had such a good season and hopefully we can finish well and hopefully get promoted.
"Surrey and Essex will be two tough games. But overall we've played really well this year and we deserve to be in this position we are in.
"If we can finish well, then we can start thinking about promotion – but until then we've just got to keep focused and do well."
Moeen admits he has a close bond with the Worcestershire fans and senses they are proud for him to be representing England.
There was rapturous applause when he came out to bat in his last county appearance against Glamorgan at the end of June shortly after his first Test century against Sri Lanka at Headingley.
Moeen said: "People are happy for me, I really sense that, happy that I am representing England as a Worcestershire player.
"It's a great feeling when people are like that towards you and that is why Worcester is so special to me.
"It's a great place to play your cricket and the atmosphere has always been brilliant."
