Moeen Becomes Ambassador For Liverpool Fc’s Pakistan Supporters Club

Liverpool fan Moeen Ali has become an ambassador for the club's official supporters club in Pakistan known as "Pak Reds."

Pak Reds was granted official supporter club status in February 2013 -two years after being founded – and now boasts official venues in six cities throughout the country, in Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad, Chakwal, Lahore and Hyderabad.

Worcestershire and England all-rounder Moeen, who has joined up with the England squad in the West Indies, said: "I'm happy to announce I'm the new brand ambassador of Pak Reds.

"I look forward to this association."

Moeen attended Liverpool's game with Manchester United game last month and was also at Anfield to watch the All-Star Charity Match at the end of March.

He joins fellow Pak Reds ambassadors Dr Zaf Iqbal, Liverpool's former club doctor, ATP World Tour tennis player Aisam-Ul-Haq and BBC Asian Network presenter Noreen Khan.

Liverpool FC has just over 200 Official Supporters Clubs all over the world in over 50 different countries.

Moeen will be keeping an eye on Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa at Wembley tomorrow from afar.

He said: "I'll be keeping an eye from the West Indies, I always keep an eye on the Liverpool results.

"Hopefully we smash Villa and get into the final. I really want to play Arsenal because they beat us badly the other day in the Premier League."
