Moeen Runner-Up In Odi Batting And Bowling Averages

Moeen Ali finished second in both the batting and bowling averages for England in the Royal London One-Day International Series against India.

The Worcestershire all-rounder scored 76 runs in his two knocks including 67 off 50 balls at Edgbaston with only Joe Root having a better average than his 38.00. 

His half century was the first of the series by an England batsman.

Moeen also finished with two wickets for 74 runs at an average of 37.00.

He was wicket-less at Edgbaston but returned 2-34 from eight overs at Headingley.

England's next ODI action will be seven matches in Sri Lanka in November-December as part of their build-up to the 2015 World Cup.
