More Boca Success For Worcestershire Ccc With Double Award

it was a proud evening for worcestershire ccc when they lifted two major awards at the ecb business of cricket award (boca) 2018 ceremony at emirates old trafford.

after the vitality blast triumph on the pitch, the double award demonstrated that the county is also going in the right direction away from the action in the middle.

worcestershire followed up their boca success in 2014 and 2016 by being recognised for their growth strategy at New Road.

they have successfully used their headquarters to drive revenue by utilizing the venue for conferencing and events throughout the year.

it was a double win for the pears with former marketing executive carrie lloyd – recently promoted to a new role as head of pr & communications – picking up the match operations unsung hero award.

carrie plays a key role in helping to ensure all facets of a typical match day run smoothly.

worcestershire were also recognised for the most improved overall match day experience – another testament to the hard work that has gone on to make visits to New Road as memorable as possible for members and supporters.

in 2014 worcestershire lifted the county recognition award – a reflection of the overall work the winning county had done to improve their business model.

then two years later worcestershire won the business change and innovation award as a result of the success of the outdoor cinema events and legends concert during 2016.

the bocas aim to recognise non-playing excellence in the professional game.
