The new book on Worcestershire's record run scorer and former captain Don Kenyon is now available to purchase.

"Don Kenyon – His Own Man" by Worcestershire Heritage Group Chairman and Worcestershire Board member Tim Jones is priced £15 and would make an ideal Christmas present.

Kenyon scored 37,002 first class runs and led the County to their 1964 and 1965 County Championship triumphs.

But Jones' book also gives an insight into the life of Don Kenyon – a former England selector – away from the cricket field.

Books can be purchased from Tim who will be at New Road in the Graeme Hick Pavilion between 11am and 12 noon on Sunday November 8 and Sunday December 6 prior to the Sunday lunches being served on those days.

But otherwise they can be ordered from Tim by making a cheques payable to T Jones (plus £2 postage) or are available from his home at 8 Edge Hill Drive, Perton, Wolverhampton, WV6, 7SW.

Tim can also be contacted via his email timajones405@aol.com or via phone on 07890 138682.
