Worcestershire Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has given an update on players currently side-lined through injury.
All-rounder Gareth Andrew (back)
Rhodes: "We desperately wanted Gareth to see the specialist again.
"He is on a course of treatment at the moment and we were hoping to play him as a batter and a fielder in the Seconds game with Durham at Darlington last week.
"But the only way we could get him to see the specialist was to pull him out of that game (mid-way) and that's what we did."
Paceman Graeme Whiles (knee)
Rhodes: "Graeme has sadly picked up a problem where he is going to have another knee operation.
"He will have that operation on Tuesday."
Paceman Chris Russell (ankle)
Rhodes: "He has had an injection on an impingement on an ankle.
"We hope Chris may well be able to play in some second team cricket during this coming week."
