Richard Oliver heads the batting averages for Geelong City who are involved in a four way fight for the Geelong Cricket Association Division One title.

The Worcestershire opener has scored 451 in nine Divisione One innings with one hundred and three fifties at an average of 51.22.

His complete innings scores are 10, 116, 65, 20, 68, 82, 47, 37 and 16.

In addition Oliver registered two fifties – 76 and 50 – in the Geelong Advertiser Twenty20 competition.

But Oliver's main concern is to try and help Geelong City lift the Division One title as captain of the Sharks.

They are currently lying in third spot and only nine points separate the leading four clubs in a competition where six points are awarded per win.

City are next in action away to Lara in a two day game tomorrow (Saturday) and February 7 and they then visit Leopold on February 14 and 21 with their final Division One fixture at home to Murgheboluc on February 28 and March 7.
