It's only a week to go now before the newly branded Worcestershire Rapids play their first home match in the 2014 NatWest T20 Blast and the excitement is mounting by the minute.
New Road is the place to be next Friday when the current T20 champions Northamptonshire Steelbacks are the visitors with the game getting underway at 5.30pm.
Tickets are on sale for this much anticipated occasion and skipper Daryl Mitchell says the New Road crowd "can be like a 12th man" for the team if they get behind the Rapids.
It will be the first opportunity for home fans to see big-hitting New Zealand star Colin Munro in action and he is available for all 14 group matches in the competition.
They will also be able to see at first hand the new look team strip being worn by Moeen Ali, Saeed Ajmal and Co.
General admission advance ticket prices start at £17 for adults and £5 for juniors.
