Charlie Morris has returned to Blackfinch New Road after a second successive winter playing grade cricket in Australia.
The Worcestershire paceman returned to Tuggeranong Valley whom he had helped to complete a one-day and two-day cup double in 2016-2017.
Morris aided them in enjoying some further success in the McDonald’s ACT Premier Cricket first grade.
He was part of the Tuggeranong side which reached the semi-finals of the one-day Gallop Cup competition after finishing third in the group stages.
But Weston Creek Molonglo gained revenge for having lost both finals to Tuggeranong 12 months earlier.
In the two-day Douglas Cup, Morris departed from Down Under with Tuggeranong currently lying fifth after four games and battling to reach the knockout stages.
Morris ended his spell as Tuggeranong’s third highest wicket-taker with figures of 112.2-18-377-12 and an economy rate of 3.36.
He picked up 29 wickets from 14 games at an average of 17.93 in 2016-2017.
*Congratulations to Charlie Morris after he announced his engagement to Sophie Bambury-Whitton.
