Perfect Time To Renew Love Affair – And Membership – With County For 150Th Anniversary Year

The start of the Worcestershire CCC 150th anniversary year is less than two months away and it's the perfect time for past members and supporters to renew their love affair with the county.

For membership in 2015 works out at just £4.34* per day to watch top flight cricket at New Road after the side clinched promotion back to Division One of the LV = County Championship.

It promises to be a special 12 months in the County’s illustrious history – and make sure you are part of it!

With new and top grade facilities including The View, Division One LV= County Championship cricket, quality new signings like Alex Gidman, attractive fixtures including New Zealand and Warwickshire, and a special programme of events being planned to celebrate the 150th Anniversary season, is there a better time to be a Worcestershire CCC Member?

The good news is Members can enjoy the entire 150th Anniversary season for just £204 if purchased by Direct Debit before 31st January 2015.

At £204, Premium Membership is now cheaper than it was for the 2014 season if it was purchased from February onwards!

Worcestershire CCC Commercial Director Jon Graham said: "2015 is a massive year for us, we are proud of what we are, and we don't want to price people out of the market.

"When you think of the cost of football or rugby now, for a fraction of the cost people can come to New Road for the equivalent of less than £4.50 a day and see the best young talent this country is producing in the top flight of First Class cricket."

Graham, who himself is a lifelong Worcestershire fan, said: "The focus of the Membership for 2015 is very much to take a bit of a retrospective view because it's our 150th Anniversary.

"Supporters that have previously been members in 2014 and have helped to contribute to the history of this great Club and as we approach our 150th Anniversary year it’s a perfect time to renew that Membership and get back into the fold.

"Lots of things have happened here during the last year whether on or off the field, the View was opened in its entirety and generated significant new income streams within the Club with vastly improved facilities for supporters.

"For those people that have been away for quite a while, I know they'll be pleasantly surprised if they join us in our 150th Anniversary year.

"From a playing perspective, what better time than when we're in Division One, four days against Warwickshire, four days against New Zealand, Yorkshire, Somerset, there’s a lot to look forward to this summer.

"It's going to be a nostalgic year, lots of things going on off the field which we would encourage members to get involved with.

"We'll only have one crack at 150 years so we want to make it a good one."
