Quickfire Return To Action Back Home For Worcs Spinner Ajmal

Saeed Ajmal was quickly back in action in his native Pakistan after ending his third spell with Worcestershire.

The Pakistan spinner has played back to back T20 matches for Faisalabad Region in the Haier Mobile T20 Cup.

It was in the NatWest T20 Blast that Ajmal enjoyed most success this summer with 21 wickets in 12 matches and was the Rapids leading wicket-takerin the run to the quarter-finals.

But he was on the losing side in both matches after flying out from England to his homeland on Sunday.

Ajmal scored two not out and bowled four overs for 21 runs in the five wicket setback against Peshawar Region.

Then Ajmal Did Not Bat and finished with 1-37 in his four overs as Faisalabad were beaten by seven wickets against Karachi Region Blues.

Ajmal has been awarded a 'B' grade central contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board for 2015-2016.
