Rain Delays Start Of Rapids Home Clash With Vikings

Rain Delays Start Of Rapids Home Clash With Vikings

The start of Worcestershire Rapids NatWest T20 Blast clash with Yorkshire Vikings at New Road this evening was delayed by the weather.

North Group leaders Worcestershire were looking to return to action after the wash-out of last Friday's home meeting with Nottinghamshire Outlaws.

But a heavy downpour at 4.30pm meant that play was unable to get underway at the 5.30pm start time.

Worcestershire had won six T20 Blast matches on the trot before the Outlaws game was rained off.

Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named a 13 strong squad for the game.
