RAPIDS SPINNER SARAH AGAIN AMONGST WICKETS IN ENGLAND TRIUMPH

Worcestershire Women’s Rapids leg spinner Sarah Glenn was again amongst the wickets for England Women as they defeated Pakistan by 127 runs in the second ODI in Kuala Lumpur.

Glenn picked up the prized scalp of Pakistan captain and top scorer Bismah Maroof who made 64 off 65 balls before she was eighth out with the total on 187.

She had earlier dismissed number three player Javeira Khan – lbw for 26.

Glenn, who also plays for Loughborough Lightning in the Kia Super League, finished with the excellent figures of 10-0-37-2 as Pakistan were dismissed for 200 in 44.5 overs.

It followed on from her performance of 2-38 in 9.4 overs on her England debut.

England are now 2-0 ahead in the series in which points accumulated count towards the ICC Women’s Championship.

England had earlier amassed 327-4 in their 50 overs.

Natalie Sciver hit an unbeaten 100 off 85 balls with 12 boundaries and shared in stands of 84 for the third wicket with Heather Knight (86) and an unbroken 146 in 14.1 overs with Fran Wilson (85 not out).
