RAPIDS SPINNER SARAH SHINES AS ENGLAND END ON HIGH NOTE

Sarah Glenn was again amongst the wickets in helping England complete a 3-0 T20I series win against Pakistan in Kuala Lumpur

The Worcestershire Women’s Rapids leg spinner ended her first taste of international action this winter on a high note.

Glenn finished with figures of 2-12 from three overs as England triumphed by 26 runs.

She came into the attack during the powerplay and struck in the fifth over in dismissing opener Nahida Khan (8).

Glenn collected another scalp in the 11th over when Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof (17) was stumped.

The 20-year-old conceded just one boundary from her penultimate delivery.

Pakistan eventually closed on 144-5 and went down by 26 runs.

England had batted consistently to total 170-3 with skipper Heather Knight top-scoring with 43.

Glenn and her team-mates will now head home after winning the ODI Series between the two countries 2-0 – with one game abandoned – ahead of the T20I Series.
