Rapids T20 Season Pass Would Make Ideal Christmas Present

Rapids T20 Season Pass Would Make Ideal Christmas Present

Worcestershire Rapids Season Pass for the 2017 NatWest T20 Blast is on sale – and would make the perfect Christmas present!

For just £99, holders of the pass can watch all seven of the County's T20 Blast North Group games at New Road next summer.

That works out at barely £14 a game – a substantial saving compared to the matchday admission prices which will be announced shortly after the 2017 fixtures announcement.

And, if you are unable to attend any game, the Season Pass is transferable to a friend or colleague.

The Rapids have produced some stunning cricket during the last few seasons, reaching three quarter-finals in four years.

And, although missing out on the last eight in 2016, there were still some memorable occasions to saviour including Tom Kohler-Cadmore's blistering hundred versus Durham, Ben Cox's heroics in securing the win over Northants and then the triumph over Birmingham Bears.

New Road has become THE place to be on Friday evenings – the hottest ticket in town in Worcester – and the Season Pass will make an ideal stocking filler on December 25.

Managing Director Jon Graham said: "We've had a 200% growth year on year (with the Season Pass) and it is well documented in the press that we were second in the table of % to capacity in the T20.

"It is becoming really popular and the momentum of the Rapids as a brand is definitely hitting the mark.

"Certainly with the Friday nights and the weekends, people have got more opportunity to come and view. We wanted to make sure the price is competitive and at under £100 for seven games, it is certainly is that.

"The Season Pass will involve signficant savings on the matchday price which will be released after the release of the fixtures.

"There is a market for the Season Pass and it is fully transferable so, if you buy it and are unable to attend a game, you can give it someone else who can attend in your place.

"We try and keep it as flexible as we can so everyone will get huge value money-wise and, all being well, T20 Season Pass Holders will see a strong squad and some good performances.

"Last year, we started like a train with some amazing results and one of the most spectacular centuries ever seen from Tom Kohler-Cadmore versus Durham. Live, I've never seen anything like that. He was hitting balls into the park over New Road for fun."

Graham added: "We introduced new things last year like the Food Village and Picnic Area, new activities during the interview, Rapids Man versus Rapids Fan, the music etc.

"There is a lot more buzz around T20 and we are investing in that and we feel for £99 for seven games it is really good value.

"It is well documented that T20 is only going in one direction and what a fantastic Christmas present the Season Pass would make.

"If you are struggling to buy for dad, grandad or son and hopefully mum, because we want to see as many families here as we can, it is a fantastic present.

"We are hopefully and confident we will reach and exceed the numbers we got to last year."
