Rapids Unchanged As Flintoff Launches Comeback At New Road

Rapids Unchanged As Flintoff Launches Comeback At New Road

Worcestershire Rapids have named an unchanged side for this afternoon's NatWest T20 Blast top of the table clash with Lancashire Lightning at New Road (2.30 start).

Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has kept faith with the side which defeated Birmingham Bears before the wash-outs against Nottinghamshire Outlaws and Yorkshire Vikings.

All-rounder Ross Whiteley was fit to play after having an injection following a recent shoulder problem.

Spinner Brett D'Oliveira was included for his first game since his father Damian D'Oliveira passed away last Sunday.

Lancashire included former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff for his first game since announcing his comeback – five years after retiring.

Worcestershire: Mitchell, Oliver, Kohler-Cadmore, Munro, Kervezee, Whiteley, Cox, D'Oliveira, Shantry, Ajmal, Russell.
