Director Of Cricket Steve Rhodes says "wins are around the corner" for Worcestershire if they maintain the form shown during their weather-hit start to the campaign.
The County suffered the frustration of the Specsavers County Championship clash with Glamorgan at the Swalec Stadium being abandoned as a draw.
Constant rain meant the final two days were washed out completely with Glamorgan reeling at 42-4 in reply to Worcestershire's 456-6 declared.
Worcestershire had to be content with 11 points but Rhodes is convinced victories will start to happen if the County continue in the same vein with bat and ball.
Rhodes told BBC Hereford-Worcester's Dave Bradley: "It was very disappointing. For the rain to fall as heavy as it has is a little bit of a surprise to us and obviously it has halted our progress in gathering points and trying to win the game.
"Very frustrating but there were some really terrific performances from our lads when we did play in the early part of the game.
"I thought Joe Leach and Ed Barnard bowled really well with that new ball and Jack Shantry did a great job as well.
"The three of them bowled extremely well. They bowled a good heavy line and length and nipped the ball around and swung it a little bit enough to take the edge or get the wickets.
"We've also had another two centurions in this game, a double century from Dolly (Brett D'Oliveira) and 100 from Clarkey (Joe Clarke).
"We've had six hundreds so far in the games we could play. There has been some terrific batting and if we keep playing like that, the wins are around the corner.
"But we've got to make sure we do keep playing like that.
"It is frustrating, and the lads were desperate to try and get some more points but sadly the conditions and the rain are making life difficult for us."
*Worcestershire Seconds were also again hit by rain as day two of the four-day clash with Warwickshire Seconds at Barnt Green suffered the same fate as day one and was washed out.
