Rose And Crown Lunch In Aid Of Daryl’s Benefit Fund

Tickets are selling fast for the Cricketer’s Lunch at The Rose & Crown Severn Stoke in aid of Worcestershire captain Daryl Mitchell's 2016 benefit season.

More than half the tickets have already been sold for the event which takes place on Friday April 22 at the historic and scenic 400 year old pub.

Daryl and some of his Worcestershire team-mates will be taking part in a question and answer session.

The price of £25 per person includes a two course lunch.

The event will be compered by BBC Hereford-Worcester cricket and rugby commentator David Bradley.

Meanwhile Daryl's team went down 50-47 to Kent beneficiary Darren Stevens team in the Question Of Sport evening in the Hick Pavilion at the end of what should have been day two in the washed out match at New Road.
