Chris Russell is making a big impact with the ball for North Group leaders Worcestershire Rapids in the NatWest T20 Blast.
Russell was brought into the side after the opening two games and has responded by taking 13 wickets from five matches.
His tally included three wickets in the final over of last Friday's win away to Derbyshire Falcons when he returned figures of 4-40.
New Zealander Colin Munro has put together four 30 plus scores in his seven innings including a county best 65 under the floodlights at Derby.
He is now just two runs behind Richard Oliver who remains the county's highest run scorer despite his duck against the Falcons.
Skipper Daryl Mitchell is also transferring his form in red ball cricket into the T20 Blast with two half centuries in the last three games – his first ever in this format of the game.
