Worcestershire Seconds bounced back from a comprehensive defeat to hand out a thrashing of their own to MCC Young Cricketers in a T20 double header at Merchant Taylor's School.
The Seconds went down by nine wickets in Game One after being bowled out for 94 and MCC YC reached their target with 7.5 overs to spare.
But they responded in Game Two by bowling out MCC YC for 101 and then a century stand from Alex Hepburn and Zen Malik saw them to two points with 7.4 overs in hand.
Ben Twohig won his first toss as Worcestershire Seconds captain and elected to bat first in Game One
Worcestershire gave a debut to paceman Sam Grant who has played for MCC YC this season.
The visitors were dismissed for 94 in 19.2 overs with Ross Whiteley top-scoring with 22 off 23 balls.
He added 38 for the fifth wicket with Malik (11) after the first four wickets had fallen for 27 runs.
Keeper Joe Dodd (10) was the only other player into double figures as Praven Sivirajah, Ben Brookes, Tom Smith and Luke Jones all picked up two wickets for MCC YC.
MCC YC made quick work of their modest target and reached 98-1 in 12.2 overs.
Openers Ben Curran (43 not out) and Joe Barrett (29) put on 72 in 7.2 overs before the latter fell to Alexei Kerveze.
Kervezee returned the impressive figures of 1-10 from his four overs but Curran, who struck two sixes and four fours in his 32 ball innings, and Smith saw MCC home.
In Game Two, Kervezee continued in the same vein with the ball as MCC YC opted to bat and were dismissed for 101 in exactly 20 overs.
The all-rounder removed both openers cheaply and then fellow spinners Ben Twohig and George Rhodes, who replaced Whiteley for the second game, worked their way through the MCC batting line-up.
Kervezee finished with 2-19, Twohig 3-20, Rhodes 2-13 and paceman Pat Brown 2-22.
The Worcestershire openers Hepburn and Malik saw their side through to a comprehensive victory in quickfire time.
Hepburn finished unbeaten on 48 from 34 balls with three sixes and two fours while Malik just had time to complete his half century and ended 52 not out from 40 deliveries with eight boundaries.
