Seconds Go Down By Ten Wickets At Kidderminster

Worcestershire Seconds were beaten by 10 wickets by their Sussex counterparts in a three-day friendly match at Kidderminster.

Sussex extended their first innings to 437-8 on the final day before declaring at lunch-time with paceman Charlie Morris claiming two of the three wickets to fall today.

Spinner Ben Twohig added the other to finish with figures of 4-113 from 31 overs.

Worcestershire were not able to call on the services of Tom Fell in their second innings as he was only ever intended to play the first two days of this friendly encounter.

They were bowled out for 105 with paceman Chris Russell top-scoring with 19.

Sussex paceman Stuart Whittingham did the early damage and then spinners Will Beer and Luke Wells wrapped up the second half of the innings.
