Worcestershire Seconds launched their Second Eleven T20 competition with two matches against Leicestershire Seconds at Kibworth.
They went down by 54 runs in the opening fixture and lost by six wickets in the second encounter. In Game One,
Alex Hepburn picked up three wickets for 16 runs as Leicestershire totalled 156-6 after electing to bat.
Former Worcestershire all-rounder Gareth Andrew scored an unbeaten 21 for the home side.
Hepburn top-scored with 30 for Worcestershire who were bowled out for 102 in 19.4 overs with Andrew returning 2-9 in three overs.
In Game Two, Worcestershire chose to bat and openers Alexei Kervezee (24) and Josh Dell put on 68 in nine overs.
Keeper Alex Milton also struck a quickfire unbeaten 28 off 18 balls as Worcestershire totalled 143-5 in 20 overs.
Charlie Morris picked up two early wickets when Leicestershire batted but a stand of 93 for the third wicket in 12 overs between Aadil Ali (60) and Tom Wells (55) steered the game Leicestershire's way.
Morris finished with the excellent figures of 2-19 from four overs and spinners George Rhodes and Ben Twohig also bowled tight spells.
