Worcestershire Seconds return to action with two T20 matches against their Warwickshire counterparts at Kidderminster tomorrow (11.30am and 3pm).
The Seconds will be hoping to repeat the kind of form which earned them two closely fought victories over Leicestershire at the same venue last Thursday.
Coack Kevin Sharp has named a 12 strong squad which includes triallist wicket-keeper Joe Dodd who plays Birmingham League cricket.
Sharp was pleased with the resilience shown by his side to complete the double over Leicestershire.
He said: "I was pleased paticularly after the week before when we were a bit unfortunate to lose both of the T20s against Durham because the lads didn't really deserve that.
"To come back to Kidderminster, two very close games, there was some really good resilience and good performances and it was excellent to get those two wins.
"Both games were tight in their different ways but we bowled really well in the last eight overs of the first game when it looked as if they were going to get over the line comfortably and managed to restrict them.
"Then in the second game there were some good knocks. Joe Clarke got off to a flier with 30 off 10 balls with some fantastic shots.
"We felt 160 was a competitive score. We did well upfront but then lost two or three wickets in the middle so it was one of those which could have gone either way.
"But George Rhodes at the end played a real good pressurised knock and playeda huge part in getting us over the line.
"Will Fraine also made useful runs at the end of both innings. In the first game, he got us another 15 runs which played a big part in getting us to a competitive score. He was very calm and composed.
"Then in the second game he supported George at the end and got us over the line."
