Seconds Taste Double Reversal To Durham In T20

Worcestershire Seconds were beaten in both of the T20 clashes with Durham Seconds at Stourbridge today.

In Game One Durham won by five wickets and in Game Two they came out on top by 55 runs.

GAME ONE

The Seconds were put into bat and Tom Fell top-scored with 37 from just 20 balls with one six and six fours.

Opener and skipper George Rhodes made a quickfire 20 off 11 balls with four boundaries and fellow opener Zen Malik made 26.

But the County were undone by former Yorkshire slow left armer Gurman Randhawa who removed three of the top four batsmen and finished with 4-20 from his four overs.

When Durham launched their reply, a second wicket stand of 65 between Gordon Muchall (28) and Stuart Poynter (65) put them on the path to victory.

Poynter eventually fell to spinner Ben Twohig after striking one six and seven fours in his 39 ball knock.

Twohig finished with 2-15 from his three overs but Durham reached their target with eight balls to spare.
