Jack Shantry's fine efforts with bat and ball were not enough to prevent Greenvale Kangaroos from suffering a 124 run defeat in a Victorian Premier Cricket Premier Firsts encounter away to Prahran.
It was a second reversal in the space of 24 hours for the Kangaroos after their setback at the hands of Hawthorn-Monash University.
Worcestershire all-rounder Shantry took the new ball and finished with his side's most economical figures of 1-36 from his 10 overs.
He also dismissed Prahra century-maker and opener SP Seymour for 103 but his side reached a formidable 273-7 in 50 overs after winning the toss.
Shantry's county colleague Ben Cox picked up two catches behind the stumps.
Greenvale never seriously threatened to reach their target and were dismissed for 149 in 46.1 overs.
But Shantry had the consolation of top-scoring with 48 batting at number six to add to his scores of 22 not out and 32 in his previous innings for the Kangaroos.
Cox was looking for a third successive half century after scores of 57 and 93 but was dismissed for six batting at number five.
County opener Richard Oliver was on the losing side with Geelong City in a home T20 clash with Leopold in Division One of the Geelong Cricket Association on Tuesday evening.
Geelong skipper Oliver was responsible for two runs as Leopold were restricted to 116-6 in their 20 overs after being put into bat.
But Oliver was dismissed for nine, being second out with the total on 28, as Geelong closed on 109-8.
