all tickets for this match are sold out so entry will only be granted if you have purchased an advanced match day ticket or have a valid membership. members are reminded that any guests must have purchased an advance match ticket and will not be able to purchase any on arrival.

as a reminder, this year, all full adult memberships included a free transferable junior card but this card is not valid for vitality blast matches, meaning all juniors without full junior membership will require a match ticket for any of our vitality blast fixtures.

getting to New Road/parking
New Road is located in the centre of the city and has a superb links to all forms of public transport.

by car
from north: from the m5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground. from south: from m5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground. from east: from a422, alcester, continue on this road to roundabout junction with a4440 (swinesherd way), take second exit at roundabout on to a44, continue to follow the a44 and it will lead you to new road, the county ground will be on your left. from west: from a44, evesham, stay on a44 (east) and it will lead you to new road, New Road will be on your left.

by bus
once you are in worcester city centre’s bus station that is beneath the crown gate shopping centre, walk out of the station, turn left, continue to walk straight ahead to a pedestrian crossing, walk across this and another pedestrian crossing, continue across the bridge over the severn river and you will arrive at New Road will be on your left.

by train
worcester foregate street is the closest train station to New Road and is approximately 0.5miles from the ground. to get to the county ground from foregate street station turn left out of the main entrance, head towards the cross where you turn right onto broad street. continue straight, across two pedestrian crossings to get to the other side of new road, walk over the bridge and you will shortly arrive at the cricket ground on your left.

parking
parking for worcestershire ccc members with a valid car park pass will be available on-site on a first come first served basis via the main entrance.

parking for members & supporters without a valid car park pass will be unable able to park on-site for this fixture. please see the map below for local pay & display areas.


there are a dozen reserved disabled car parking spaces on-site at New Road which are accessible on a first come, first served basis, charged at £10.

vitality blast 4’s & 6’s cards are available from the turnstile entrance point and the supporters association club shop.

match day scorecards
match day scorecards will be available for just £1 and can be purchased from the tuck shop and the supporters association club shop, whilst members can also purchase one in the foyer in the graeme hick pavilion.

food & beverages
please note; no alcohol is allowed to be brought into the venue for any vitality blast fixture, however you are more than welcome to bring a picnic and any soft drinks.

reusable plastic cups
new for the this season, worcestershire ccc have launched a new, reusable cup system, in a bid to reduce its plastic waste in 2019. members and supporters will be able to purchase the cups from any outdoor bar for a £1 deposit. you will then be able to return your cup to any outdoor bar up until 30 minutes after the close of play. alternatively why not take your cup home as a memento of the day!

water fountain
why not help us reduce plastic waste by bringing your own water bottle to the match. we have a water fountain located underneath the graeme hick pavilion to allow you to refill your bottle.

foley’s
members and non-members are welcome. barista coffee, hot & cold drinks and pork baps with apple sauce to take away will also be available. (please note; the usual foley’s menu will not be available during this fixture.)

serving delicious hot dogs, fresh warm doughnuts and candyfloss.

low ‘n’ slow barbecue food is their passion and only use real wood fired smokers to cook their meat for a truly authentic taste without compromise. offering a range of slowly cooked meat options such as, pulled pork buns, beef brisket buns, wood fired chicken, and their special worcester hot link dog!

this bar facility will be open to both members and non-members, serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks.

this bar will be serving a wide range of bottled beer, cider & lager.

wayland’s yard (in the food & picnic area)
local business wayland’s yard will be onsite in their converted vintage horse box, who will be serving barista coffee and fresh tea.

wccc will be offering ice cream (supplied by local firm churchfields), with new and exciting flavours.

face painting (next to the family stand)
faces unlimited will be onsite providing free face painting or glitter tattoos.

batfast (behind the basil d’oliveira stand)
new for 2019, there will also be a chance for visitors to take part in our batfast cricket simulator – put your batting skills to the test against a number of virtual bowlers and see if you hit them for six!

redpoint climbing wall (behind the basil d’oliveira stand)
bring some adventure to your visit at New Road and attempt our amazing mobile climbing wall! suitable for all ages and abilities.

players signing session
get to meet the rapids during the post-match signing session which will take place after play.

supporters’ association club shop
worcestershire ccc and worcestershire rapids merchandise is available from our worcestershire supporters’ association club shop, which is located between the graeme hick pavilion and foley’s cafe.

toilets & baby changing facilities
ample toilet facilities are located, and well signposted, in various locations around the ground. baby changing facilities are available in the basil d’oliveira stand, foley’s, below the ladies pavilion and the graeme hick pavilion (members only)

smoking policy
designated smoking areas are assigned in various concourse areas, but smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only permitted in these areas, so please refrain from smoking in your seat.
