Supporters’ Association 2016 Calendar Now On Sale

Worcestershire Supporters' Association have produced their 2016 calendar which is only available to purchase from their shop situated at the back of the Basil D'Oliveira Stand priced £7.50p.

The majority of the photos are also featured in the 'Pears 150 – The Life And Times of WCCC 1865-2014' by Andrew Thomas which is also available to purchase from the WSA Shop during matches, priced £28.

There are an excellent variety of photographs on display in the calendar and 'January' shows four seasons of the popular chestnut trees situated by the Marquee.

February highlights the entrance to the old pavilion which was replaced by the Graeme Hick Pavilion for the 2009 season and March shows one of the floods that has engulfed the ground during various winters.

In contrast April shows the ground in all its splendour with a capacity crowd and May highlights a shot of the ground from the top of Worcester Cathedral.

The impact of T20 cricket is demonstrated via the June picture with a view of a full house Basil D'Oliveira Stand and July shows the Graeme Hick Pavilion in all its splendour.

August recalls one of the limited overs matches played under floodlights at New Road while September shows head groundsman Tim Packwood rescuing equipment during a 2008 flood.

October is bang up to date and shows the completion of Joe Leach's hat-trick against Northants in the Royal London One-Day Cup and the swan which circled the ground like a plane coming into land.

There is a pic of England star Mooen Ali for November and the calendar ends in December with contrasting pictures of New Road in summer and winter.
