Supporters’ Association Give Thumbs-Up To ‘foley’s

Worcestershire Supporters' Association have given a massive thumbs-up to the new 'Foley's' coffee house and eatery at New Road.

The Association took the opportunity to hold their first committee meeting in 'Foley's' – based in the former 1865 Lounge-Kenyon Room – since the new establishment was opened eight days ago.

And the committee were mightily impressed with the ambience, quality of food and drinks and value for money.

Association chairman Andrew Jenkins said: "We were very impressed with not only the surroundings but also the coffee, tea and the food.

"It has only been open just over a week but everything seems to be going very smoothly like a well oiled machine.

"Our committee members had meals ranging from bacon baps to vegetarian breakfasts and everyone agreed it was all first class.

"It has an ideal ambience for people who want to hold business meetings but also for young mothers with toddlers and several of them took advantage of the excellent play area available.

"All sorts of people from different age groups were popping in and Ed Barnard had a meal there after training as well.

"There was also a nice touch with the miniature bats being used for the table numbers. We were all impressed and are looking to hold all of our meetings there in the future."

'Foley's is open to everyone on non matchdays from 7am to 3pm and on matchdays from 7am until the close of play.

It is available on match days to the general public from 7am to 9.30am and then for supporters and members inside the ground only from 9.30am onwards until the close of play.
