Supporters’ Association Items To Mark 150Th Anniversary Year

Worcestershire Supporters' Association have produced a quintet of souvenir items to mark the county's 150th Anniversary Year.

A large and small clock, a tumbler, a tankard and a paperweight can all be purchased from the Supporters' Association shop situated at the rear of the Basil D'Oliveira Stand.

The large clock and paperweight cost £27-50p, the small clock £25.00p, the tankard £20.00p and the tumbler £15.00p.

There are other new products available for the 2015 campaign including a postcard depicting all three of the county's pavilions during their proud history.

Teddy bears and shirts are also available amongst many other items with the shop open during all first team games at New Road throughout the summer.

Association members and Worcestershire CCC members will be able to purchase cut-price Playfair Annuals, Who's Who and Wisdens from the shop during the early part of the season.

The Association are again staging their popular Fifty-Fifty competition during the 2015 season.

There will be four draws made on June 28, July 26, August 23 and September 20 with prizes ranging from £500 to £50 for each draw.

The draw already has attracted 440 members for 2015. It costs £20 to enter with profits from this competition going to the Ground Improvement Fund.

Anyone wanting to enter the competition should make cheques payable to the Worcestershire County Cricket Supporters' Association (WCCSA).

The Association are to stage a trio of luncheons in the Marquee at New Road this summer.

The luncheons have become a popular occasion with members and their guests during the past few seasons.

This season the Marquee is booked for the first day of the Warwickshire LV = County Championship match on June 14, for the England Women v Australia ODI on July 26 and the second day of the Sussex Championship game on September 2.

It is also intended to hold another Christmas Luncheon in the Graeme Hick Pavilion after the success of the 2014 Luncheon which attracted 140 members.
