Supporters’ Association Stage Second Luncheon Of Summer During Women’s Odi

The Worcestershire Supporters' Association are staging their second luncheon of the summer in the Chestnut Marquee during the England Women v Australia One-Day International on Sunday, July 26 with tickets priced £25.

The third and final luncheon of the season will be held in the Marquee on Wednesday, September 2 – the second day of the LV = County Championship match with Sussex and this time the prices will be £22.50 for Supporters' Association members and £27.50 for non members.

It is also intended to hold another Christmas Luncheon in the Graeme Hick Pavilion after the success of the 2014 Luncheon which attracted 140 members.

Anyone wanting to purchase a ticket should contact long-serving chairman Ken Mills c-o Worcestershire CCC at New Road.

Meanwhile the Association will stage the second of four draws in their popular Fifty-Fifty competition on July 26 with the total prize money amounting to £1900 – the same as the first draw.

The other draws will be on August 23 (prize money £1,900) and September 20 (prize money £2,200).

If anyone would still like to participate in the three remaining draws then it costs £20 – with all profits going to the Ground Improvement Fund – and they should contact Ken Mills at New Road.

The 2015 draw has already attracted in excess of £800 members.

Meanwhile, copies of the 'Pears 150' book by Andrew Thomas to mark the club's anniversary, priced £28, continue to sell well in the Supporters' Association with more than 60 having already been purchased.
