Tom Fell has confidence in his Worcestershire team-mate and flat-mate Tom Kohler-Cadmore to complete his first LV = County Championship century when play resumes tomorrow against Middlesex at New Road.
Kohler-Cadmore will restart his innings on 97 not out after sharing in an unbroken stand of 219 in 59 overs with Fell.
The 21-year-old came close to the milestone last summer when dismissed for 99 against Leicestershire and last week hit 89 against Durham at the ICG Emirates before being stumped.
Fell said: "He has got his dad (Mick Cadmore) staying around the flat so he will probaby be more nervous than Pepsi!
"Everyone is going to be a little bit happier, none more than Pepsi, when he gets those three runs and get a career best.
"He was gutted when he was out for 99 last year and hopefully he will do it this time. I'm convinced of it myself."
Fell and Kohler-Cadmore also batted well in tandem at Durham until the bizarre run-out of Fell for 83.
Both batsmen stopped running after thinking the ball had gone for four but Fell was run out by Graham Onions throw back into keeper Michael Richardson who transferred the ball to Paul Collingwood at the non striker's end.
Fell said: "We've had a few good partnerships in the past. Being my flat-mate, it is good to bat with him – and without any silly run-outs this time!"
