Triallist Will MacVicar scored a century for Worcestershire Seconds who suffered a nine wicket defeat at the hands of Leicestershire in a Second Eleven Championship match at Lutterworth.
MacVicar, who has played this season for Loughborough MCCU, struck 15 fours in his 108 ball innings.
He was last out in Worcestershire's second innings after sharing a last wicket stand of 63 with Toby Lester and lifted the final total to 180.
Leicestershire were left a 71 victory target and Lester picked up the one wicket to fall of Angus Robson.
The home side had resumed in their first innings on 199-5 in reply to Worcestershire's 160 and the last four wickets went down for 10 runs after a stand of 58 between Lewis Hill and Chris Whittock.
Spinner Ben Twohig, 16, finished with 3-41 from 16 overs.
Worcestershire were left seven overs batting before lunch in their second innings and reached 42-4 by the interval.
Will MacVicar and George Rhodes added 27 for the sixth wicket but Worcestershire were 117-9 when Lester joined MacVicar for their productive last wicket partnership.
