Under-17S Looking To End Cup Programme On High Note

Worcestershire will be looking to end their ECB Royal London Under-17 County Cup programme on a high note this weekend.

The County will be taking on Gloucestershire Under-17s in their Group 4A encounter at RGS Worcester on Sunday.

Academy Coach Elliot Wilson has named a 12 strong squad with Zain Ul-Hassan skippering the side and Robbie Hardwick keeping wicket.

Worcestershire will be searching for their first victory of the 2018 County Cup campaign.

They came so close to achieving that in the thrilling tie with their Devon counterparts at Heathcoat CC last weekend.

Worcestershire are currently in bottom position but can move ahead of their opponents and Devon – who play Hampshire in their final match in June 24 – with victory tomorrow.

The 50 overs a side match will get underway at 11am.
