Ventutec Ltd Announced As Worcestershire County Cricket Club Digital Partner

Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC) today launched their new website https://www.wccc.co.ukalong with the announcement of their Official Digital Partner, Ventutec Ltd.

The launch of a new website for WCCC this month shows the start of a long term relationship between the two businesses. The team at Ventutec will now continue to develop and implement new website functionality to further enhance the user experience, and are already working on a number of other exciting digital projects.

Worcestershire Business Development Director Jon Graham said: “It’s full speed ahead for us into the new cricket season. It’s great to have a digital partner that has fully bought into our future vision. The team at Ventutec and the marketing department at WCCC have worked tirelessly over the winter months with special mentions to Zoe Francis (Ventutec) and Carrie Lloyd (WCCC) for doing a fantastic job to ensure that we now have a website that staff, members and all supporters can be proud of.”

The launch of the new club website shows the resilience and strength of WCCC following this years floods. Jon followed with “WCCC are really embracing their digital platform and moving with the times. Ventutec Ltd are able to support us and deliver against our digital plans. This is just the start of things to come, it’s going to be a very exciting new season with lots more potential interaction for fans and visitors to the club.”

Ventutec Ltd, a creative design and digital agency who designed and built the site are certainly no strangers to large scale website and app projects. Based in Worcester City Centre themselves, Ventutec see this partnership as a fantastic opportunity to strengthen their local presence. Managing Director, Kevin Savage says “Being chosen as the Cricket Club’s digital partner is a huge honour for us. It’s a chance for us to showcase our digital skills, initially with the launch of the New Road and WCCC websites and with more exciting projects to follow. Providing their digital solutions shows our support and belief in everything the club stands for and brings to the local area.”

Confidence in the Cricket Club is growing after the opening of the multi-million pound corporate and membership facility "The View" and the signing of Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal for the 2014 campaign.
