all-rounder ed barnard was the overwhelming winner of the 2017 award.
he polled 50 per cent of the votes after scoring nearly 600 championship runs and taking 47 wickets.
only association members are eligible to cast a vote.
the closing date for nominations is 12 noon on tuesday september 25 – day two of the final specsavers county championship match with yorkshire at New Road.

the winner will be announced and receive their award at the end of season awards night on friday, september 28.
