Why Not Join The Worcestershire Cricket Society

Why Not Join The Worcestershire Cricket Society

The Worcestershire Cricket Society is finalising its programme of guests speakers for the winter evenings in the Graeme Hick Pavilion.

The Society stages a varied programme of speakers for cricket-themed evenings from October through to March, starting at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month.

It costs only £15 to join the Society and £20 for a joint husband and wife-partner membership and this entitles anyone to attend all six evenings.

In addition the Society invites a guest speaker to attend their AGM in May – this year it was opening batsman Richard Oliver – and the end of season lunch in September, both held at New Road.

The Society also arranges various trips for members and in the past have visited Trent Bridge, Old Trafford, Edgbaston and Durham.

Anyone wishing to become a member should send a cheque made payable to 'Worcestershire Cricket Society' to secretary Ann Mullen at 8 Yew Tree Close, Worcester, WR5 2LH.

*Non Society members can attend the winter eveningsat a cost of £3 per evening.
