Worcestershire Women’s Rapids will launch their ECB County Championship Division Two campaign with a brace of away matches in the 50 over competition.
The Rapids will visit Middlesex on Sunday, May 5 and then make the trip to Berkshire 24 hours later on the Bank Holiday Monday.
Their first home fixture will be against Devon on Sunday, May 12.
The Rapids gained promotion back to Division Two at the first attempt in impressive style last summer via the play-off win over Cornwall at Blackfinch New Road.
They will play a total of seven Division Two matches – four away and three at home.
The Rapids will be looking to make a quickfire return to Division One of the ECB County Championship T20 competition after last year’s relegation following one season in the top flight.
They will begin their programme with a home double header on Sunday June 9 against Durham and Devon.
Then after two away trips the Rapids will conclude the group programme in the short format of the game versus visiting Somerset and Derbyshire on June 30.
The venues will be confirmed nearer to the summer but the Rapids are hoping again at some point to play at Blackfinch New Road as in 2018.
