Worcestershire Ccc V Leeds Bradford Mccu April 1-3 2018

the first chance to see worcestershire county cricket club in 2018 is just around the corner, with the team taking on leeds-bradford mccu in a first class fixture at rgs worcester from april 1-3.

the match will be staged at rgs worcester’s flagge meadow playing field with the county continuing their preparations for a return to specsavers county championship division one cricket at New Road.

we have prepared a small guide to give members and supporters a brief overview of the match and what will be available over the three days.

play will start at 11 am each day and end at approximately 5pm. there will be no entry charge for this fixture.

a steward will be at the ground to help out out with any information, including facilities available around the field.

the royal grammar school will be setting out teas and coffee as in previous years.

parking – unfortunately there will be no parking for spectators at the ground.

however, on the map you can see a number of local parking lots close to the ground. two of the nearest car parks are –

moors car park – 4 the moors, worcester wr1 3ee

pitchcroft car park – pitch croft, worcester wr2 2wd

both are approximately 0.6 miles from the ground and a brief 10 minute walk.

train – alternatively if you are arriving by train, worcester foregate is a similar distance, approximately 0.6 miles.

once you arrive at the station turn right out of the station, then right onto pierpoint street. following this take a left on sansome walk and continue along this road onto chestnut walk.

flagge meadow is located at the end of chestnut walk on the junction with flagge meadow walk.

bus – once you are in worcester city centre’s bus station that is beneath the crown gate shopping centre, head up angel street towards the main road. looking left you will see worcester foregate train station.

from here turn right onto pierpoint street. following this take a left on sansome walk and continue along this road onto chestnut walk.

flagge meadow is located at the end of chestnut walk on the junction with flagge meadow walk.
