WORCESTERSHIRE CRICKET GOES RED

In aid of the Ruth Strauss Foundation we’re inviting all cricket clubs to get behind our #oneclub campaign and help raise awareness and funding for a cause very close to cricket’s heart.

On Thursday 15th August, Lord’s Cricket Ground will be turning red for day two of the second Specsavers Ashes Test between England and Australia in aid of the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

We’re bringing this to Worcestershire and playing our part in turn asking you and your club to get involved.  On Saturday 17th August, we’re inviting all clubs across Worcestershire to make Worcestershire Cricket Red and help raise funds and awareness.

What are we asking?

  • Each club to add an additional £2 to their match fees on Saturday 17th August
  • A photograph with both teams prior to the game and sharing on your social media channels

What will we provide you with?

  • Specially commissioned limited edition red wristbands for your players to wear during the game
  • A stencil to paint onto your outfield during your game, along with a tin of red spray paint

Sign up for clubs has now closed
