Worcestershire CCC and Worcestershire Cricket Board coaches will be playing their full part at the Worcestershire Cricket Coaches Association Coaching Conference 2016 at Worcester University on Sunday.

Under the banner of 'Coaching Participation To Perform' the five and a hour event will be split into four sections – batting, strengthening and conditioning, fielding and making participation fun.

Worcestershire CCC Batting Coach and Second Eleven Coach Kevin Sharp will stage the batting sessions and Worcestershire CCC Strengthening and Conditioning coach Ross Dewar will be in charge of the S and C sessions.

Fielding will be under the wing of Derbyshire CCC Fielding Coach Cookie Patel.

The making participation fun will be in the capable hands of the Worcestershire Cricket Board trio of Jason Yip, Sam Wyles and Jon Hancock.

The event is being staged in the University Sports Centre on the St. John's Campus at Henwick Grove, Worcester.

Interest has been high in taking part with the cost being £20 per person and based on a first come, first serve basis with packed lunches provided for the participants.
