Worcs Cricket Society Winter Programme Close To Being Finalised

Worcestershire Cricket Society are close to finalising their programme of winter cricket evenings which are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Graeme Hick Pavilion starting at 7.30.

Former Worcestershire paceman John Inchmore, ex England batting hero David Steele plus Worcestershire Heritage Group chairman Tim Jones, talking about his soon to be published book on former Worcestershire captain Don Kenyon, have been lined up to appear.

We will publish the full dates and list of speakers once they are confirmed and finalised but the evenings are held between October and March each year.

Membership of the Worcestershire Cricket Society is £15 per adult and £20 for a double membership.

But non members can also attend meetings for an admission charge of £3.

Meanwhile, Worcestershire Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes will be guest speaker at the Cricket Society's annual lunch held in the Marquee on Sunday, September 27, starting at 1.30pm.

Tickets are still available and cost £23 for Cricket Society members and non-members and can be obtained by contacting secretary Ann Mullen via email at annmullen1935@gmail.com.

The Society are hoping to organise a trip to Manchester via an overnight stay which will include a tour of Lancashire CCC's Old Trafford ground and again details will be announced if and when they are finalised.
