Worcestershire's Christmas party nights have been hailed a "massive success" with numbers up by more than 30 per cent on last year's record-breaking figures.
Commercial director Jon Graham said that "comfortably more than 2,000" people had enjoyed a festive night out at New Road in either The View or the Graeme Hick Pavilion in 2014 compared to 1,500 in 2013.
And already interest is being shown in re-booking for 2015 such is the satisfaction at what the county are able to offer the party-goer who wants a night to remember.
It is another sign that the club is moving in the right direction with its off the field operation and plans since the launch of The View 15 months ago gave the scope to generate additional business.
Graham said: "The Christmas parties have been a massive success and numbers-wise have been up majorly on last year.
"We've comfortably had over 2,000 people for the Xmas parties compared to 1,500 12 months ago.
"Last year was a record year so, to be that far up, we are definitely doing something right.
"We've already had quite a few people ask about coming back next year for the Christmas parties.
"Last year we were still finding our feet with the building because the View had only been opened two or three months.
"We very much tried to give the best experience we could without overloading the numbers without us understanding how the building operates and how we could be most effective.
"That was the right thing to do last year but this year we understand it. We've been through a full season of cricket, a lot of functions, a few weddings, which has given us the confidence so we actually fully understand how best to operate the building.
"We've opened the door to a lot more potential business that has come in and the feedback has been amazing. We've had some really, really good events.
"We've got more capacity but it's always been about keeping that commitment to customer service and delivering good value for money and hopefully it's something people will enjoy and will come back."
Graham revealed the determination of everyone to ensure Worcestershire maintain high standards and look to improve them even more to ensure all customers gets full and total satisfaction in the county's 150th Anniversary Year.
He said: "The whole business is getting better but it's very much new people, new building, new surroundings. It's going to take time.
"It takes a long time to get good and proficient and one year is just a start. We've got things right more often than not but we are by no means where I feel we need to be.
"We will strive to make sure we can get there. We've won awards, everyone has been recognised but that's 2014 and once that has gone, that's history and we've got to make sure we get better, not say '2014 was a good year.'
"Well 2015 is our 150th year and we want it to be even be better. We only get one crack at that."
